Historic Getty Park & Getty Field was deeded over to the Village by George B. Getty and Sarah J. Getty in 1908. It is located on 6th Street, running along both sides of School Street. The park is currently being renovated and will feature a splash pad, basketball court, tennis court, pickleball, playground equipment, and a pavilion with a fire feature.
In 2012 Horseshoe Park was created with recreation and tournaments in mind! The Park was recently given the name of Nichols Horseshoe Park for Shelby resident Lou Nichols involvement in getting it developed. The horseshoe tournaments are held in the warmer months, Saturday from 10:30 am until teams are finished. The public is always welcome.
Mead Park is a 33-acre park bisected by a primary county road and has a baseball field and a parking area that serves both the Park and Shelby Optimist Club building. The west end of the park is adjacent to the William Field Memorial Hart-Montague Trail; Piper Creek also meanders throughout Mead Park.
Memorial Park was one of Shelby's First Parks, created in 1903. The park is located at State, Third and Maple and features picnic tables, benches, a monument, and a canon!

Located behind the business district, right along the beautiful William Field Memorial Hart-Montague Trail is our Rail Trail Pavilion. The pavilion is popular with trail hikers, bicyclists and residents alike. It provides an excellent shelter for music and farm & art markets. There are also several picnic benches for you to enjoy your lunch. You may rent the pavilion by completing and submitting the form below or by calling the Village office at 231-861-4400.
Tank Park is located on 6th Street and Industrial Park Drive. Take time to sit at the park benches or picnic tables to rest and reflect.
Wesco Park is located at State St. and Fourth. Lots of folks walk to local businesses, and this park gives you a minute to rest in the shade.
Soccer Park is located at Walnut St. and 5th Street. This park has soccer goals, abundant green space to run & play, and picnic tables under the trees to take a minute to rest as you ride along the beautiful William Field Memorial Hart-Montague Trail.
