Historic Getty Park & Getty Field was deeded over to the Village by George B. Getty and Sarah J. Getty in 1908. It is located on 6th Street, running along both sides of School Street. The park is currently being renovated and will feature a splash pad, basketball court, tennis court, pickleball, playground equipment, and a pavilion with a fire feature. This space may be rented by filling out the Public Space Rental Form.
Come ride the William Field Memorial Hart-Montague Trail from the Village of Shelby!
Located behind the business district, right along the beautiful William Field Memorial Hart-Montague Trail is our Rail Trail Pavilion. The pavilion is popular with trail hikers, bicyclists and residents alike. It provides an excellent shelter for music and farm & art markets. There are also several picnic benches for you to enjoy your lunch. This space may be rented by filling out the Public Space Rental Form.
Memorial Park was one of Shelby's First Parks, created in 1903. The park is located at State, Third and Maple and features picnic tables, benches, a monument, and a canon!
Tank Park is located on 6th Street and Industrial Park Drive. Take time to sit at the park benches or picnic tables to rest and reflect.
Mead Park is a 33-acre park bisected by a primary county road and has a baseball field and a parking area that serves both the Park and Shelby Optimist Club building. The west end of the park is adjacent to the William Field Memorial Hart-Montague Trail; Piper Creek also meanders throughout Mead Park.
Wesco Park is located at State St. and Fourth. Lots of folks walk to local businesses, and this park gives you a minute to rest in the shade.
