Shelby, Michigan is in Oceana County along the shoreline of Lake Michigan. Our small community is filled with friendly people, several restaurants, numerous parks, including a rail trail linear park, a full-service hospital, a grocery store, a community bank, an excellent school system and much, much more!
We are surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery that the State of Michigan offers–sweeping dunes, beautiful Lake Michigan, sundry of inland lakes, orchards and fields. There’s beauty everywhere you turn.
Spring brings the breathtaking beauty of blossoming fruit trees dotting the landscape.
Summer delights us with warm weather perfect for enjoying the dunes and Lake Michigan. Fall’s spectacular display of hardwoods and orchards turning color will leave you in awe. Winters are like you may remember as a kid—perfect for sledding, skiing, snowmobiling and building snowmen! Snowfall is generally above average. You will need a shovel.
