📢 Reminder: Community Clean-Up Day is This Saturday!
July 27th, 2026Many residents are doing their part to keep Shelby looking its best—planting flowers, maintaining their lawns, updating siding, and replacing roofs. These efforts make a real difference in our community. While we’ve made great progress, there’s always more we can do.
To help with those efforts, your tax dollars are funding Community Clean-Up Day / Dumpster Day this Saturday August 1 from 9am to 12pm at the Optimist Club parking lot, giving residents an opportunity to dispose of unwanted items and help keep our town clean and attractive.
✅ Please review the attached graphic for a list of items that are and are not accepted in the dumpsters, as required by the disposal company.
✅ Also new this year is a voucher system, designed to give all residents a fair opportunity to participate before some individuals make multiple trips.
