🌟 A Huge Shout Out to New Beginnings Church and Love INC of Oceana County! 🌟

July 30th, 2026

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to New Beginnings Church here in Shelby for once again stepping up to serve our community this summer.

Their volunteer team has made a tremendous impact by:
✅ Removing weeds from behind our downtown area
✅ Helping one of our senior residents complete a significant property cleanup
✅ Finishing a painting project that was started last year
✅ Coming alongside a resident facing challenging cleanup needs, including removing large amounts of garbage and tidying up outdoor spaces

The photos in this post showcase the improvements that were made, including several before-and-after transformations. The difference is truly remarkable!

We would also like to recognize Love INC, which has been working alongside the aforementioned senior by helping coordinate the removal of large tree limbs and connecting him with resources for a much-needed new roof.

When neighbors, churches, nonprofits, and volunteers come together, great things happen. We are blessed to live in a community where people genuinely care for one another and are willing to lend a hand when it is needed most.

👏 Outstanding work, and thank you for helping Shelby become safer, more well-maintained, and appealing!
